On a separate note, am I missing the attraction of knowing the track listing prior to hearing the music associated to said song title? Does anyone actually get psyched on that? Serious question. I guess it reveals how many tracks will be on the album.

I really hope this is the LP that takes Baroness to the heights that Mastodon are at. I know Mastodon have had more music out but I thought Blue Album was better than Crack The Skye (and thus was my favourite metal release of the year even though I probably only listened to like 3 metal albums all year!)

I definitely like knowing the track names before listening to an album. Particularly for post-rock as it at least gives you some indication of what the hell the artist is trying to do!!

Saying that I've never been that fussed about "hearing the first single" as much as some people.

Just saw them play last night. They played a new song and it was great, so I'm really looking forward to their release.

Also if you haven't seen them live, do so. Far more entertaining than their recordings.
