I was hoping the album would be out in June as rumoured, but it's nice to know we'll have a single and (likely a cover) to enjoy until the time in right. I wonder what other b-sides they may have for us. Hope they lock down and announce a release date soon.

So stoked. Honestly, they could release an entire album full of just Tom Petty covers and I would love the shit outta that puppy.

And I know Brian mentioned in a previous interview that there is no correlation between Handwritten and previous albums... but how can I not speculate that "45" is somehow related to "The '59 Sound"? It was my first natural reaction!
