My good friend Nathan Parent from Ashland/Washburn Wisconsin. He's kind of hard to describe, some of it's acoustic ("You're Mine"), some of it's more folkey ("Sorry Soul"), some of it's more straight forward and poppier. Either way, it's all great and very easy to listen to. He puts on a great live show too, both full band or solo acoustic.

The Holiday Electric....pretty straightforward DIY rock from NYC, influences range from Texas is the Reason, the Saves the Day can't slow down demo tape, early Skate 'N Surf festival bands, etc. Wrapping up self-funded debut album for this summer with Jim Wirt.
RIYL: Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, The Kooks, Midtown.
Random facts: The band uses multiple drummers (from metal guys to jazz players), bass player Paul Accardi is cousin of Vin Accardi from Brand New, ex bass player is now with River City Extension.
Riyl: House of Heroes, Foo Fighters, new Thrice, Maroon 5
Debut EP, Re: Start, listenable and downloadable for free! The five songs were recorded by brothers Taylor and Chase Tremaine, who've been playing together for five years. Taylor sang, played the drums, and played a guitar solo. Chase, the younger brother by five years, sang gang vocals and recorded electric, acoustic, bass, and baritone guitars, which all add together for an intriguing and exciting experience through pop music thats heavier and darker than their poppiest influences like BBMak and Jesse Mccartney. Thats probably because their other influences include Thrice and Mew. For their harmony-filled live shows, they fill out the band with an extra 1-3 members, but they are also well known for their acoustic sets. New single coming out this May.
