The start was pretty much what I expected, there's definitely going to be rust to shake off when you haven't played for a week no matter how hard you practice. Because of that, I feel like today was the Devils best chance to steal a game. If they keep playing like they did in the 3rd and OT, I'm not really all that concerned. JVR came to play today, and that's coming from someone who is not a fan at all. Kovalchuk was pretty much invisible all game long. Danny Briere has earned a lifetime free pass for all the regular season bitching done about him, the guy is just money in the playoffs and I hope people remember that next year. Brodeur can keep whining all he wants but if this keeps up, I really don't see this series going more than 5 games.
