Damiera is currently in pre-production to record the follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut, M(US)IC, this winter. Jayson Dezuzio, now the band's bassist, will produce again, along with singer Dave Raymond. While in the studio, the band will post periodic video blogs detailing the recording process. Their current tour with Moros Eros and The Stiletto Formal will your last opportunity to catch Damiera live until 2008.
like every other damiera post i feel inclined to write something about how under rated this band is. go see them once live and you'll realize that every other band you listen to isn't as fuckin balls to the wall as these dudes, and if you're a musician...no matter how good you are just quit playing prior to the show because they'll make you want to cry.
they played a free show with just surrender at uconn to a crowd of like 20, it was one of the best concerts ive been to and i got to meet dave and he is one of the nicest people ever
