i know. but at the same time, i know that when the dude putting the festival on first talked about it, he said the National and Flaming Lips were the two bands he most saw playing, so i assume he went after them pretty hard and they just turned him down. the lineup is mostly meh though.

TGA is a pretty nice upgrade.

There was a festival at sawyer pouit(where they are having this festival) years ago called the curiosa festival years back headlined by the walkmen. Sawyer point is not built to handle a music festival, the parking situation is going to be a nightmare. The stage where the main acts are going to be is very low to Tue ground. It was built for families to sit down on blankets and watch acts. Still really cool they are trying this
