Absolutely love these guys. Such a refreshing take on pop-rock that's fun, but avoids gimmicks.

That's the appeal - it's a concept that should be gimmicky, but is so well done that I don't bat an eyelash at it. Entire album is a good listen - the electronis are incorporated seamlessly.

Exactly. It's easy for chiptune stuff to be really gimmicky, When it's done well it's really cool.

Kaboom is just an awesome record. Their rock side reminds me of sugarcult but the chip tune part is done so well.

These guys sound like a better version of what Weezer tried to down on the last few albums minus Hurley

This band just seems fun. Very catchy. I could do without the explosion sounds but good song.
