Sales of 21 have to be at least a little depressing for other artists; they work their asses off to build up hype for an album's debut, and their first week sales still can't touch what Adele moves without even trying.

It just seems ridiculous. Katy Perry's last album set or tied the record for most #1 singles from an album but hasn't even sold close to Adele. I know in this day and age singles can't directly correlate to total album sales but you have to assume there would be some correlation.
