Good to know someone knows about it, awesome to hear and couldn't agree more.

I was introduced to it via my stepfather (Who's seen Cray several times), when I was going through my John Mayer phase. We practically listened it all summer a few years ago. Cray's a genius.

The Airborne Toxic Event - All At Once

I remember when I was excited for the record. It was my 14th birthday, raining outside when I first listened to the 30 second samples. I overlooked it after that. 10 months passed and I heard "All I Ever Wanted" for the first time. I remember how excited I was for this record. Then a month later I finally listened to it. I kicked the critics opinion and my first opinion out of my mind. This record is good. The "mediocre somewhat popular indie rock" scene isn't bad, and this record is a prime example of this. 8.5/10

I put my ipod on shuffle and it played "Colder Than My Heart If You Can Imagine", Which made me want to re-listen to the album after it being forever since I've listened to them. I still love this album with a passion. This was my shit back in the day, and it still holds up in my opinion.

The ambient songs fill my head with space and let me flow, disconnecting and reconnecting with reality.
The beat songs take from from that space, fill me with rhythm & gritty texture, then let me go back to floating.
Great late night album.

Check out "Ediswan" if you're interested.

Trespassers William - Different Stars
Mellifluous morning music making many more magnificent melodies. Mmmmmmmmm. This album is just the best... I've sorta fallen in-and-out-and-in love with it time and time again, but I can't help but keep coming back: it's for the best, though.

A couple of my friends played some songs from this at a party and remembered I never even listened to it. So I gave it a spin, solid pop jams. Was not really paying attention to most of it but would probably play again.

Los Campesions- Romance is Boring

Decided to revisit this for whatever reason, "In Media Res" is probably one of my favorite album openers of all time, you can just tell it's something special from the very first line. The rest of the album doesn't really hold up. "Straight in at 101" and "The Sea..." are both solid jams, but I feel like the album as a whole would have benefited from being about 10 minutes shorter. Overall, I enjoy it over their older, less restrained stuff and would probably edge it over Hello Sadness just for "In Media Res" alone.

This is arguably the best metalcore album I've heard. The concept is great, the musicianship and vocals are great, and the lyrics are great. While Oceana has moved onto a much better style of music (in my opinion), I will always love this album.

The Books - The Lemon of Pink

Easily my favorite The Books release. The album is a beautiful mix of acoustic guitars and bizarre vocal samples. Completely serene but rather attention grabbing.

Glassjaw - Colouring Book

So much better than anything they've released before. A lot of people have a problem with this band because of the misogynistic lyrics on EYWTKAS, but I think everybody that has written them off should listen to this EP. The song-writing is fantastic and musically they've never been better, with this EP displaying a strong tribal and at times even ambient influence. This is hands down my favourite thing this band has ever released. Just so, so good. It feels like a completely different band to the one that wrote, "Suck on the end of this dick that cums lead".

Was a little disappointed by this album a little bit, but I definitely like it more than the first listen. Jason is just such a great songwriter, although he didn't write his best songs here. Band killed it live though, his voice is great, and I can't wait for the new album. gotta put my thoughts together about that show, a month afterwards...been so busy. But yeah. album's solid.

Henry Thomas - Ragtime Texas

One of my favorite albums. Its a compilation songs from one of the earliest recorded black musicians. I like it in that its kind of unique and unusual-- not your usual rags or blues on here that were common during that time. The most striking thing is the prominence of the panpipes. They create a very interesting sound in early American folk songs. I don;t know if I've heard much other music that included this instrument. . Apparently he would play guitar, sing, and play a panpipe hanging around his neck. There is actually a good variety of songs here which I don;t find much from other folk artists of the same time period. Some songs from it have been covered and become popular despite his relative obscurity. "Fishing Blues" and "Bull Doze Blues" are songs that might be recognized.

Oh my god. This is incredible!

Got this for my birthday on vinyl. Nothing beats it in my books.

I'm also really in love with this. Are there any more albums similar to this?

Was a huge Alkaline Trio, let down by their last few albums (anything after Crimson hurts to listen to) and this really got me stoked on a new Alkaline Trio record.
