Nothing about this stuck out to me. Then again, if Tell All Your Friends came out tomorrow I probably wouldn't enjoy it nearly as much as I did in high school...that record still gets play, but it's mostly the nostalgia factor that makes me belt the whole thing out in my car.

if tell all your friends came out tomorrow i wouldn't enjoy it as much because that kind of sound has lost it's originality. there are so many NFG/TBS copycat bands out there these days

That second voice is very Mascherinoesque. I love that.

To me it sounds like a watered-down, boring ripoff of Tell All Your Friends. Not really digging it.

I haven't really heard any band that hit/still hits me the way that TBS did with Tell All Your Friends.

Of course there's more, my post was quoting a guy who seemed to think there aren't a lot of CT bands doing their thing. I was just pointing out some others. Nothing to relax over, because I was never upset.
all good i took the original post the wrong way and am quick to defend my friends

I wish Five Star Sequel would have blown up instead of breaking up. They had their own sound but were definitely in the same vein as early taking back sunday. I think you could still find their songs on purevolume or even myspace.

Another band that had a early tbs similar sound would be The Rising Tide.

Kinda what I was thinking. Not bad by any means, just unoriginal.
And that atrocious logo of theirs doesn't help.

So happy to see the CT scene growing. I hope to be a part of it when I'm older.

Song is catchy and well-written. It didn't particularly impress me, but probably only because of the heavy TBS influence in the verses. I strongly dislike TBS. song definitely made me want to check out more of their stuff though. Band sounds pretty decent, and it's cool to hear some rougher vocals in pop-punk again these days.
