it should be. but they are broke still probably. I believe that any band on an established record label should never have to ask for money for recording costs or a DVD because really thats what record labels are for. it seems like every band is just using this as an easy handout and it pisses me off. i find it really hard to believe drive thru can't "loan" them $1500.

What? Surely Drive Thru should fund this but I guess they haven't been an 'active' label for years now. I'm all game for these kickstarters bands use though but sometimes it seems the whole point of being on a label is missed?

umm, from reading their kickstarter description, it sounds like they want $1500 to follow warped tour? and if you give them $5 they'll follow you on twitter!

$5 to follow you on Twitter? I would pay that much to have other bands stop randomly requesting me on Twitter.

Also, hate to be that guy, but I feel like every other post on here is some band launching a kickstarter...not a good sign.

Kickstarter seems to be a cop out for bands, in my opinion. I forget who said it, but I agree: A Kickstarter should not be the most lucrative thing a band does, but it's starting to turn out to be that way and it's a damn shame.

That $1000 pledge is pretty cool if you happen to have a spare grand

After they released their single in January, the Reines came out and said they they weren't sure if their full length would be released through DTR or not.
