i think the only ego he has is one that people make up for a reason to hate him.

He comes off as really insecure in that. He still has to justify why he quit Blink-182 and that his band is relevant with those reviews. He just can't shake it off his mind. He wants to be loved and accepted by everyone. You made a choice. Man up and run with it.

There are definitely two opposing sides to Tom's audience. I take my place with the side that says Tom is still cool/not crazy. I agree with the dude that said Tom just knows what he wants. If it makes him happy, you can't really bash him too much for it (regardless of if you like the music or not, your opinion is your opinion). Happiness is all we ever need.
