yea, but they have been "broken up" for awhile but yea, Asa's a very cool guy, but this is shady business, he said he didn't want to play music for awhile and then joins another band I mean wtf, that's just shady as hell

his dad is a drummer as well.

The last Springfield band that formed out of two break-ups was The Graduate. Hopefully that's a good sign for these guys.

Though after the Asa/TJV deal, I can't help but be a little bit skeptical.

so, i dont even know who you are. but you get on all the TJV threads and act like you were in the fucking band or something. but im sure youre who just some random kid who feels like they have ownership over tjv because they are local or you know them or some stupid shit.

How is this shady? When did he say he didn't want to play music for awhile? When Andy left his message that said he was touring with The Dear Hunter, did anybody say it was shady? No. Because it's not. Asa loves music. Always have. Always will. Of course he was going to get involved in something else. It was just a matter of time. Of course hes going to do what he loves. But somehow this makes him shaddy. I don't get it.

Incase you were unaware Asa left the band in the cold. He peaced out no warning - to start a new life i believe. One that didnt involve being ina band for a bit. So i agree - i think its a bit shady. I'm still relatively interested in hearing this new band, but i will definitely miss tjv. that band goes back a good few years for me.

Andy i assume made the decision after tjv died out - they even tried a replacement bassist/vocalist for a bit. just wasnt working.

dude, the jv was my 1st show when I was 14, it was their ep release show right after they started, anyone from this area has heard that Asa said he wanted to get his life together and that he wasn't gonna go back to music atleast for a long time, so before bashing me, get the details, you couldve simply asked me before bashing me
