Absolutely sucks. I feel like this either didn't used to happen as often back when, or wasn't so easily reported as now with various social media feeds.

Either way, this is awful. At least they have some kind of means to get some of their gear back. Wish I could buy a ticket.

It seriously pisses me off that he has to use his own means to fix the wrong that someone else did him and his band. I mean common, these are great dudes, this is just some bullcrap man.

don't get me wrong, it is horrible that bands are continually getting robbed by thieves

it seems every couple of weeks i am reading so and so have had x amount of gear stolen, donations are open, help them out here etc. etc.

...why the fuck! does nobody have insurance?

i mean starving bands and all i get it, but if you are trailing thousands of dollars worth of equipment you need to make your living with around the world, surely that's the one essential expense

Sucks. Lots of it can be prevented though by bands actually being careful. Sometimes there's just nothing you could have done, but be careful where you park and what you leave in the van.
