Yesterday Jeremy took over the Thursday Discussion reigns with his "great sophomore album" piece, today our pal Zack tackled his own version of the question over on POZ.com, so, if you missed it - make sure you add your own.
Coheed and Cambria - In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth:3 The Starting Line - Based on a True Story Arctic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare The Dear Hunter - Act II Forgive Durden - Razia's Shadow (i'm not counting the EPs) Gatsbys American Dream - Ribbons and Sugar Midtown - Living Well is the Best Revenge
So am I the only one who counts EPs as 'debut albums'?
A ton of people said Still Searching from Senses Fail was a great sophomore album, and I absolutely consider Let It Enfold You to be their sophomore cd.

EP aren't considered full albums because they are generally much shorter than a full album so it is unfair to count EP's as an album
Albums that grew on you would make a good Thursday discussion (maybe it already was one). Because yesterday I named TAI's Santi as my favorite sophomore album, but I hated it at first. The same goes for Sam's Town by The Killers. I didn't realize how good they were until revisiting them a year or two later. I had to mature a little, idk...
I'm sure many other people feel this way about certain albums.
I really don't like admitting this, but one of the biggest sophomore albums for me is Sing It Loud Everything Collide -- I'm not into bands like this, their first album was really as you would expect it to be. Bad. But that second one, I really liked, awesome summer album start to finish. Biggest sophmore Sophomore Comeback to me and I am a huge the format and brand new fan, so that's kinda saying something
