This sounds like the best music festival. Just for this I really wish I lived in FL. I would probably fly down there just for this if I could.

Can't wait! Finally making it up to my first FEST this year.

not very easy. ive been to 6 now i think. there are 10 venues spread out throughout downtown gainesville. and while theyre all within walking distance, there are 250 bands on average Fest weekend. most venues start their shows (besides friday) at 2-3 on sat and sun and there are Always major conflicts for who you want to see, especially since some venues only have like a 300 capacity. so you have to wait in line to get in and then stay for whatever bands you want to see. its not like walk up to this venue, get in, see your band, go back to another. but its not that drastic or dramatic either. its been more of an issue the last three years than previously. but bands (while now discouraged) always play house, warehouse, and secret shows if youre in the know. thankfully, i used to live in gainesville and have friends i stay with so we just bike between places and can rush around and recharge at home easily. since 2005 FEST has consistently been the best weekend of every year for me and my friends.

Really wish I was going to The Fest this year, last year was the best time of my life.
