Good review. I give both discs collectively an 85%.

I saw these guys 3 times in about 4 months near the end of 2005-beginning of 2006. They have, hands down, the best live show. One venue all we did was clap in between songs, no talking or anything, it was truly amazing, dead silence during all songs. This DVD is gonna be amazing! If they ever come tour back in the states, do whatever you can do to see them. I think I like the Heim disc better than the Hvarf disc. Both are really solid though. Sigur Rós is great to listen to this time of year especially!!!!!

I would start with Agaetis Byrjun (Fetus Album) because not only is it many fans favorite album, there was a song in the horrible movie Vanilla Sky you may have heard. Von, Agaetis Byrjun, ( ), Takk are all similar but all very different albums. Takk is the most 'popular?' of their albums and has been promoted the most. I'd say check em all out. You can't go wrong with these guys.

Yea man, any album is great. I liked the review too btw. Described much of their sound real well.
