I'm really fucking happy with the Braves acquiring Maholm and Reed Johnson. Exactly what we needed. A nice, consistent, lefty to add to the rotation. And a right-handed hitter off the bench that can play good outfield. So stoked.

Sucks to give up Vizcaino, but this is such a good trade for this season. Sure beats the heck out of the Dempster/Delgado deal that didn't happen. Thank god.

Nah. He's been really bad lately, but I think its probably a mental thing at this point. He's already proven all he can prove in the minors and he's still wasting awal down there. I doubt he will be brought up any time soon unless they find some sucker of a team willing to trade for Franceour.

Saw him in person a month or so ago and he looked awesome. He should be a great player and I can't wait til he's in the bigs. If only we could get some pitching...
