Police Charge 94 People at Drake Concert

Posted by: Thomas Nassiff (06/09/12)
Drake played a concert at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in New York, and it looks like police charged 94 people during the show. The charges were for a variety of reasons, and some people were arrested, but 70 of the charges were for possession of alcohol under age 21.

I'm sure cops don't do this more often at (hip hop) shows.

This happens at literally every big amphitheater show like this.

John Mayer's blog on the 63 arrests at his show in Pennsylvania a few years back was the best:
Quote:
In looking to the future, I hope that this will serve as a wake-up call to young fans who may be thinking about engaging in illegal activity at one of my concerts. If I happen to be walking backstage and I see any of you young men passed out drunk on a stretcher, make no mistake about it, you will come-to in front of your disappointed parents with a face full of Sharpie and the sneaking suspicion that you’ve been teabagged by one of Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2007
