I'm liking more bands that Rise signs nowadays, but I hate their habit of re-releasing album 6-12 months later. It's very Victory Records of them.

I don't generally mind things like that (Journey, After the Burial, and whatnot) mostly because I like new versions of songs. However, I feel like on some level its a dick move. "We never existed before this dude" or something. idk

Cool, but honestly I'm fed up with re-releases. Now I'm just not going to bother with initial releases, just going to hold off a few more months for the re-issue. It's a good move from a label/band standpoint but it's starting to run dry on consumers. Anyways, interested as to what's going to be on it.

Aaron Pauley from Jamies Elsewhere will be playing bass and doing clean vocals on the warped tour for them.

perhaps. i think it might be interesting. it would also be weird to have the old record with random other songs with a new singer tacked on, particularly two years after the initial release.

To me this is the labels easy way of saying "We scrapped their new record for the most part because it sucked and we put what songs were ok at best on the reissue."
