it appears I need to revisit this band. I stopped caring literally after the first release and when The Widow was released (or Fiance, whatever it was called) it just passed me by

EDIT: holy crap after watching that video. this seems awesome! why did I stop listening to this band?

did they change their sound much from their debut?

Not TOO much. There's more structure, some more melodic instrumentation, but still a lot of crazy mathcore/noise. Either way its great, check out Long Live their most recent LP.

I am beyond excited for this album! Is this the same studio they shot the video for David de la Hoz in?

Yup. Same studio as all their albums, I believe. If not, definitely same producer.

AOTY for me, definitely, as their past 3 have been. Even though this year has had so many awesome albums (and there will be more).

I agree. Long Live is one of my top ten favorite albums and I have loved all of their releases. I expect this one to be quite awesome. The clip also makes me feel pretty good about it.
