I came home from college in May and I absolutely hate it. Not because there's nothing to do... I'm working my ass off right now and my friends are all here... but coming back to live with my family is torturous! Everyday I think "I have to get my own place ffs". I love my family but holy shit, it was so much easier being away at school. So much family bullshit. Plus they're still not used to me being home. Apparently I'm the drama queen in the family, and it was much quieter without me living there. Needless to say, I need my own place. I'd be on my own right now but I don't get any loans for school so everything I'm working for is going towards my tuition right now. Kill me now.

i'm not lacking in tasks, i have a job; the hours just aren't enough.

I'm just sad that there are no friends home this summer. I don't really drive (i live in queens mostly so my driving skills have become rudimentary at best). plus many of them are abroad so i can't go to them anyway. I'm the type of person who likes to have people around to do things with, i can't be in my head 24/7.

I feel ya. I graduated in May and now I'm back at home working summer jobs looking for a full time job. Most of my friends from school stayed up in CT to work. I have two best friends at home and they're the ones I mostly hangout with. I guess I need to make more friends around here

I just finished my freshman year in college and I stayed home but I rarely saw my friends all year. It was pretty depressing. But for the last month, I've been hanging out with them again so I'm definitely better. =]
