Boy Meets Machine is a rock band from New Jersey set to release their debut full length War Horn on July 24th. We're exclusively premiering the track "Under Your Bed," and when I was listening I heard the guitar work of Circa Survive, the electronic undertones of Innerpartysystem, and a more straightforward rock approach like Conditions. While the band doesn't necessarily show their technical prowess on this song like the rest of the record, it's a solid number for the Circa Survive crowd. Not bad - enough to get me interested in their upcoming album. And is it me or does the vocalist sound like Adam from TBS with a bit more distortion? If I had to compare, I'd say it's Circa Survive and Cursive guitars mixed with some TBS... kinda.
I also am getting sick of bands putting "boy" in their band name.
