It doesn't really. It was originally given that domain when the webmaster was strictly a fan of older pop-punk like MxPx and Blink 182. However, that was upwards of 10 years ago and the site has changed with developments in alternative music. But the domain name was already ingrained in the minds of a large reader-base, so it was not and will not be changed.
