Does AVA still do that program where you pay like $50 a month to skype with Tom for 20 minutes? I think I remember in 2008 at Warped Tour where the only way you could meet AVA was by joining this monthly service thing and becoming a member.

I did the meet and greet a couple years and I didn't think $100 was bad. They signed shit, and we got pictures, we saw sound check, and we all got a free shirt.

at Warped Tour in like '08 or whatever, there was a huge meet and greet line for Modlife members at the Angels and Airwaves tent. then, there was a separate line at the tent to just buy merch, which had no one in it. Tom was sitting right by the merch, so i went up since no one was there and talked to him for a second, and he helped me pick out a shirt to buy. so i met Tom for free while everyone else met him for 100 bucks, or whatever it is.

i've met the band twice, for free both times. so paying 100 bucks to meet them and get a shirt.... it's a ripoff. having to pay to meet any band is retarded. period.

I did the meet and greet way back when I-Empire was released. I think it was only like $20 per quarter for a modlife membership. Definitely worth it. I saw tons of webcasts with the band, and even some with Tom playing Blink songs he hadn't played for years. I also got a signed poster at the following Warped Tour.

That website is such a cash grab. And I like AVA.

Definitely want to hear the exclusive song that comes with the USB!
