The rap part sucks but I love her and this is a really good cover

I dig this r&b cover series. First The Weeknd, now Active Child. The originals are undoubtedly stronger, but I like that she didn't carbon copy either.

Can't wait to hear the new album. Is Starsmith working on it again?

tinie really fucked this song up.

loved it until tinie tempah came on. yikes. i don't think it would be nearly as bad had the production quality of the vocal not been drastically different from ellie gouldings.

As much as I absolutely adore Ellie, the original is definitely better. But she did great on it (Tinie's part was disappointing), still super excited for her new album!

I agree that Tinie's part wasn't good. I usually enjoy his stuff. Anyway, Ellie nailed it!

Is her follow-up to Lights still coming out this year? I'm doubting it a bit since the title track has gone into the top 5 of the charts, and the album has raised in sales here too.

wish she'd come out with some new originals :(. atleast it some new tunes though.

I guess she's (finally) picking up steam over in the US? But I would say yes to that question, as she tweets a lot about some new album stuff.

I actually didn't mind Tinie's part; I'm not into rap, but somehow his part felt like it balanced Ellie's part pretty well. Below article has news on her 2nd album:
