No but seriously -- I'm surprised by the obsession over this guy, when it's so blatant how drastically he changed his music to fit into a big-time gimmick. I mean who cares...I just find it kind of funny.
Sorry to express my opinion on a discussion board. Had my opinion been a positive one, I guess it would have been better well received. Once again I apologize for having such terrible taste in music and not appreciating the brilliance of "Beez In the Trap". Maybe if I had Webster's Urban Dictionary in front of me while listening, I would understand the deep underlying messages in this song and truly connect with the musician on a personal level.
Haven't heard Killer Mike's album yet, but what does everyone think of El-P's new one? I'm obviously big on the production but his voice is so so. The album kills though.
I will never be able to get into El-P's voice. That alone ruins his music for me, ha.
