So I've only got till the end of the month on my lease of an apartment that I share with a few horrible girls and their boyfriends. My room has a tiny porch outside of it, that I've asked my roommates (as nicely as I could) if they would not use the porch for whatever while I'm not home. Hasn't been a problem until the last few weeks, where every day I've come home to see the door unlocked and the things I've piled in front of the door moved.
I'm pissed and feel like my privacy has been violated big time. Nothing has been stolen but someone did spill some sort of red drink on a notebook. Unfortunately I haven't been able to catch anyone in the act. I've asked the landlord to fix the lock on my room several times with no action, and since I'm leaving in two weeks it seems pointless.
Problem is I'm going on vacation on Wednesday for a long weekend and don't want that to be an excuse for anyone to use my room freely (though they basically do anyway.) And I don't trust them farther than I can throw them. Any ideas for things I can do before I leave to at least feel a little more at peace?

Tl;dr: girls are bitches and go in my room, how do I stop it

change the lock yourself. It's not that hard, you can find tutorials on youtube. Or have a friend change it for you. Personally I would hate to feel violated like that. Or, go back to the Landlord and tell him/her, don't ask. It's an easy job, they should be able to do it the same time. So if you don't want to change the lock yourself, or if you can't find a friend to do it, get the landlord to do it.

Rig a gun to shoot if the door is opened and leave a note warning of said gun on the door. If they get shot, you don't have to deal with them anymore and it's their fault because they read the warning and took the risk themselves.

Also, you could change the lock yourself. It isn't hard at all. i've done it and I'm the least handiman, man ever.

Girls are bitches. I'm glad I was able to live alone most of my college career and have lived alone ever since. I was always afraid of the theft thing. Sorry, man. At least you're out of there soon!
