This band is evolving with each and every release. All the songs released from the album have seemed less immediate and catchy than their previous records but this is way more ambitious. A Grower for sure and I hear some Brand New and As Cities Burn in here.
This song is great, this band is amazing.
The sound is a world different than their earlier releases an it threw me off at first but to understand how good the musicianship is in this song and the other 2 released makes me appreciate it much more.
Wasn't really feeling what little I've heard from this band prior but this album is pretty fucking good. Good mix of poppier and darker songwriting, lots of pedals and tasteful arrangements. Vocals could be a lot cornier in the wrong context but they just sort of *work* here.
