There is no such thing as a real girlfriend at 16. Haha. Great album though for those teenage angst years.
Well I mean I'm only 18 now, and also you have no clue what it was like, so who are you to judge?
But in any event, I meant my first girlfriend in that I actually had emotion invested in it.
Remember picking this up 8 years ago. I tried to follow the lyric booklet, but the song lyrics were different than what was printed haha. A great, great album.
Possibly my favourite overall TBS record. I love them all but somehow I get drawn back to this one the most, minus one or two songs like Make Damn Sure, Cute Without The E ad Great Romances. I feel like it was far more mature than the debut but stayed true to the vision and sound they had created.
I bought the cd with a buddy of mine the day it came out at a best buy. and then we drove around Princeton,NJ for an hour smoking multiple bowls, while looking at super rich houses and listening to the entire record for the 1st time. One of my most memorable "1st time hearing a record moment". I like the record a real lot, but i think i almost like the memory of that day more. Wonder what that says about me....LOL
