This album, Ocean Avenue, & Commit this to memory were my high school summer soundtracks.

Remember picking this up 8 years ago. I tried to follow the lyric booklet, but the song lyrics were different than what was printed haha. A great, great album.

Possibly my favourite overall TBS record. I love them all but somehow I get drawn back to this one the most, minus one or two songs like Make Damn Sure, Cute Without The E ad Great Romances. I feel like it was far more mature than the debut but stayed true to the vision and sound they had created.

Never seen 'em live but just imagining "A Decade Under the Influence" in the pit makes me want to f*** s*** up.

I bought the cd with a buddy of mine the day it came out at a best buy. and then we drove around Princeton,NJ for an hour smoking multiple bowls, while looking at super rich houses and listening to the entire record for the 1st time. One of my most memorable "1st time hearing a record moment". I like the record a real lot, but i think i almost like the memory of that day more. Wonder what that says about me....LOL

This album opitimizes summer for me.

The production is just the right mix of polished and rough and Little Devotional is probably my favourite TBS song.

The dual vocals on this record are the best of Taking Back Sunday's career (in my humble opinion).
