I can not believe people are praising this song. I saw the film clip on TV a couple of days ago and didn't know which band it was and I could not believe how terrible the song was. Lyrics are atrocious, the music does nothing for me, the structure is unoriginal and the theme has been done to death. Toward the end of the clip I was about to google the lyrics and find out which awful new band this was, and then it popped up on the screen. It's so bad.

songs been on repeat. i would say it's one of their top 3 best singles (not including solo work or featuring santana)

I've been jamming this song quite a bit, and this video is solid. Excited for North.

Awesome song. Can't wait for the album.

Not many would agree, but I would award that title to the Goo Goo Dolls. Rob Thomas has a great voice, but Johnny Rzeznik's is unbelievable.

Blur would be in that list.

A pop song about a girl, with unoriginal hooks, and simple lyrics? You don't say!

You've got to take things for what they are. This is just a fun song. Now, if this was Circa Survive or Anberlin writing this same song then I could understand the ire at the song's musical and lyrical content, but it's Matchbox 20 and you've got to know what you're getting coming into it.

Ehh, idk. I enjoy Matchbox but not sure how i feel about this.

rob thomas definitely has a gift for writing catching hooks. i think the song is fun

Yeah fair enough, though it's a long way below their old standard. There was some depth to songs like 3am and Push. The thing was, I didn't know it was their song so I was judging it like I would any other track from an unknown band on first listen and was... not impressed.
