okay so i'm shocked that it's essentially $5 per person for paintballing (and equipment). i realize that you have to buy balls, but can you just buy a canister at the place and split amongst your friends or is there a minimum.

What? Where are you getting $5 from? This site says $30

I'm not sure. It may just be some really special deal. I don't know much about livingsocial, but if it's like Groupon, it may be a safe site to use.

Definitely sounds fishy tho, 'cause my friends pay like 60 bucks to go paintballing. They rent though.

Paintballs go quick and will bring up the cost. You should buy at least 2000 for a group of 6, even those won't last too long.
