Old Flings are an Asheville, NC 3 piece and have been touring and writing these last couple years. The group started as Matt Evans (Just Die!) writing acoustically; he followed with an EP and then gradually added a full band. They recorded a demo: http://oldflings.bandcamp.com in 2011 and that became Spite that they recorded Spring 2012. We are very excited to be releasing this. It has been my jam since I started getting the rough mixes from the Spite recording session. They will be hitting the road this fall/winter to support the album. Right now we have planned 100 red and 200 black LPs. The lacquer has been approved and we are waiting on the test presses. This is a split label release between me, Bitter Melody Records, and Self Aware Records. Each label will have around 40 red LPs so I wouldn't snooze on this too long.
