it's one of those things where eventually in a series, the essence of what made the originals so great gets lost more and more as the series continues.

like Rec/quarantine, weren't great because it was a zombie movie. it was great because of the horrific idea of 'just being somewhere where someone gets sick and then being quarantined by the goverrment and being forced to die". This looks as if it's just a 'zombie' type movie, where it's all about biting and killing, and less about the realism fear.


BUT!! i absolutely LOVEEEEEE the setting. Wedding Reception? genius. no sarcasm. the casting of the bride looks perfect too.

The first two are fantastic, but this one is pretty meh. It abandons the first person camera perspective pretty quickly, which kind of makes the film lose it's "REC-ness."

It was a decent zombie flick. But a shit rec. I absolutely hated the ending though. So easy to see coming. Ruined it for me really.
