MTV has done some sleuth work and discovered that Panic! at the Disco's lead single off of their untitled sophomore album will be "Nine in the Afternoon". The video will be shot on December 20 and 21 with Shane Drake, who helmed their videos for "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" and "But It's Better If You Do". Also, in what looks to be a nightly occurrence, Panic! at the Disco's website has been updated. Looks like Mr. DeAndrea was correct in his assumption.
Why they said instead of kids writing fanfiction, for them to do more useful things like their homework, yet they put out something like this, which I'm sure distracts a fair share of insane fans to try and figure it out instead of keeping up with their studies...

That's because fan fiction is incredibly creepy and the band probably doesn't want to come across a story written by a 13 year old girl about how they fucked each other.

Well, other then choosing two of the books
MTV's not that great of sleuths. i got that from reading the thread on here last night. i AM stoked though that the guy who's doing this video was the one who did "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" and "But It's Better If You Do..." "I Write Sins" was my favorite Panic! video and then i liked the other one but after those two, i thought the rest were pretty terrible. i'll have to check that website update out too.
