quite a few people said that, and they were right. we got pretty absorbed with the writing/recording process and by the time it was being mixed and mastered we decided not to omit it because a) we thought it was a good song and b) we did love us some thrice - we don't deny that it's very similar.

if I could go back I'd probably still leave it on the record since The Alchemy Index had a lasting impact on us. I appreciate the feedback :) and since you like the record you know there are plenty of songs that sound nothing like them!

Exactly, the other 12 songs sound nothing like anything else I've ever heard. I spin that record all the time and strangely enough even more than usual in the last three weeks before I even caught word of your return. Stoked as hell for a new release.
