V/H/S is a 2012 horror film which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.[1] It features a series of found-footage shorts written and directed by Adam Wingard, David Bruckner, Ti West, Glenn McQuaid, Joe Swanberg, and the directing quartet known as Radio Silence.[2]

Out there now, how is it?

I'm betting on this and Sinister to be the best horror films this year.

Watched this the other day. Some of the shorts were pretty awesome, others not so awesome. I enjoyed it as a whole though.

I'm through four of the 'tapes' now, and I'm enjoying the ride, but I'm not blown away. The first two tapes were frankly quite boring, but these last two have been really cool. The format of this is executed really well, though, I can enjoy found footage if it's done well (the best shaky cam work I've seen in a while). I also think this is probably a breath of fresh air to the genre as a whole, and I could see it being important to general innovation in horror. I'm a horror neophyte though, completely, so that's just what I think.

Just finished this. Overall, it was a lot of fun. Started off fairly slow, but the last three tapes were pretty fucking awesome. I didn't like how the overarching theme of it all didn't really get resolved, though. I'll have to watch it again at night, but I still got jumpy in a few parts in broad daylight. Sure as shit I'll be convincing some friends to come see this when it's released theatrically. A packed house would make this way better.
