Do you know if itll be a full US tour, or just a small region? And do you know about other support?

I found two tour dates so far. 1 in Canoga Park California and another one in Salt Lake City. Also Handguns got added to the tour.

Awesome, seems like a good chance OR may be in between there somewhere. And Handguns seems pretty good--especially what Ive heard from Angst so far. Now its just waiting on the official routing release.

Unrelated to the tour, but the new Sparks song is great. Looks like the Fearless departure is going to be a good thing. Seems crazy to think I was seeing them play at a high school the next town over seven years ago.

Yeah, I'm assuming they'll play more dates. Sparks never struck me as having enough of a national fanbase for a Coast-to-Coast headliner, but who knows?

I kinda doubt it, but they were signed to Fearless for years and have been pretty successful in the past. Also, opening for DRUGS and the new direction of the EP may be bringing in more fans for them?

Yeah, I'm just wondering what other bands they'll bring. Sparks did a NE headlining tour w/ Rocky Loves Emily and a bunch of other bands. They do have a fan group called 'Bitches and Fools' centered in Utah, I believe, though.

Well right now it seems like they're bringing out Set It Off and Handguns, who are both pretty different. Seems like that tour will have a little bit for most.

Honestly, I live in CT (2 of the members of Sparks live in CT, so it's *kind of* a hometown show) and I've seen Sparks probably 5 or 6 times within the last year (3 of them being headline shows), and each time, their crowd gets smaller and smaller. They just don't have the draw / appeal that they before Worst Thing came out. I'd say the first headliner there was 200 (most people went for the local bands, it was an all day festival), the 2nd headliner had probably 70, and the last one with Rocky Loves Emily had probably 55 - 60 max, and a lot of people were just there for RLE and left.

Set It Off can draw, though. They might not have the biggest fan base, but their fans are devoted as all hell. I hope this tour works out though, sparks are some of the most genuine guys I've met and they deserve to be on top more than anything. The whole Fearless deal just fucked them over hard.

Yeah, its kinda sad to see how far they've fallen. And after going back to it, Worst Thing does have a few good songs on it. Kinda like Dirty Work, it just really wasn't as good as people were hoping.
What exactly was the deal with Fearless though? I missed that and was wondering what happened between them. I thought Fearless was a pretty solid label. (Course same time as Sparks, AVP left as well.

Fearless aid they lost 'Key Members.' They lost a bass player a few months beforehand, that's it
