Going to try these poll thread, and I'm gonna try some classic albums. I was told that this would be a landslide for Bruce, but we'll see.

Making me pick one is pure torture. Both amazing albums. But I had to go with my boo Bob on this one.

Wow, is this hard. Definitely the most difficult of these so far. Had to go with Dylan because he's my favorite artist ever, but both albums are perfect.

And why is this mark?

Because I loathe Bruce. Guy was shoved down my throat for 22 years. Being from the same area as him is a curse.

Not to discredit Dylan at all, but The Boss has to get my vote.

Highway 61 is damn near perfect and has two of the best bookend tracks in the history of rock n roll. In most polls, I'd choose it without thinking twice.

But...

Born to Run is actually perfect and has THE two greatest bookend tracks in the history of rock n roll. The Jungleland sax solo is my favorite 2+ minutes in all of recorded music, "Thunder Road" my all time favorite song, the title track a definitive anthem, and the album overall the greatest set of songs ever put to tape.

Sorry Bob, but this one is a landslide for me.

Well I know that a "real critic"'s choice would be Dylan. I mean, Rolling Stone would say that right? Fuck that. Born To Run means more to me, I grew up listening to Bruce and his songs touch more on a personal level I suppose. If I have to look at both albums with a review in mind, I still give BTR the top pick, and this is taking nothing away from Dylan because I adore his work as well.
