ha. yes... and no. we wouldn't be where we are without blueprints. i wouldn't change much about the history of anberlin. and though it pains me to listen to some of my early work i am glad i wrote that song...
on a side note pete wentz heard that song and thats the reason he put us on tour with them. without that tour we would not be on many peoples radars.

Hey Stephen just wanted to say well done on the new album its fantastic! What were your inspiration on writing it? I've found it to be very chill and relaxing.

Also good job on the Fine Me music video I feel it captures the mood of the song fittingly! Ps your hair must have took ages to get right in the video aha.

yes, they are the same song. nathan didn't like same side different war and came up with self starter. my stubbornness ends at the end of writing the song. the band has free will after that.

i have heard that clip and though i acknowledge that that is us i can reassure you that there is NO autotune on that... what people are thinking is autotune is actually a local female singer from here in nashville. (also that is a prechorus, not even the chorus...)
