Glad to see a few who enjoyed Paint It Golden as much as I did...it was tied for my personal AOTY alongside Mansions' Dig Up The Dead.

Although I'll admit the second half does lose a bit of luster due to repetitiveness...it's all worth it to conclude an album with an incredible song like "Birds". That track just gets me every time.

loved illuminate and the cinema's record, hopefully this is better than the last lydia record.

Paint It Golden was fantastic. Ghosts and Birds are two of my favourite Lydia songs.

It might just be because I was listening to the album on repeat before and after a really monumental turning point came about in my life last November, but it's either No. 1 or No. 2 of their discography for me. Would have to relisten to them all. Great fall album, overall, though.

Everything since Illuminate has sounded great to me. Can't wait to hear what's next.

As much as I love Illuminate, I LOVE Paint it Golden. I am so excited to hear where this goes.

Paint It Golden has a few solid songs, but Illuminate is something special.

I love Paint It Golden.

I really like that album and I'm not too fond of Illuminate so I'm definitely in the minority. I have high hopes for this though.

Please please please throw in some female vocals. I don't even care who sings them.
