The Soviet Releases Music Video

The Soviet is a band comprised of four close friends from northwest New Jersey. Combining elements from influences centered around indie and alternative rock, the band has created a vastly different sound that rebels against the typical music scene in the region. The band members (Joshua Perna - Vocals/Guitar, Aaron Brown - Lead Guitar, Alex Long - Bass, Kevin Boris - Drums) average out to a mere 17 years old, yet each has a wide range of musical experience in multiple genres and instruments. The Soviet’s self-titled EP releases August 2012 and features the singles “Dialect” and "Monotony".
