1. Sigur Ros - Hvarf/Heim
I'm just excited for anything that this band does. I end up playing their records for weeks at a time after they come out - I'm sure this one will be no different.
2. Tegan and Sara - The Con
So good - can't get enough of this record. I really liked their stuff before, but I feel like they really nailed it on this one.
3. Peter Bjorn and John - Writers Block
I just love "Young Folks" so much, I feel like every DJ in every night club could play it every time I go out and I would never get... oh, wait- they do play it constantly and I did get really tired of it.
4. Feist - The Reminder
I'll be honest - I don't have this record and I've only heard a few songs, but I've loved "Let it Die" for years and remember thinking "why doesn't everyone know about Feist?" and because of this record, everyone does.
5. Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad
I love Rihanna. Everything she does. Seriously. "Umbrella" rules.
6. The Donnas - Bitchin'
I had been anticipating this record for a long time - It was so nice to see it finally get released. And on their own label, no less.
7. Maria Taylor - Lynn Teeter Flower
Such an amazing record - I was unbelievably excited to hear this one, and I already cant wait to hear what she comes up with next.
8. Radiohead - In Rainbows
Okay, I had to get this one out of the way. Love everything they do... yada yada... such an awesome way to release the record... etc. etc. (whatever everyone is saying about). But I will add that I could listen to "All I Need" everyday for the rest of my life.
9. Minipop - A New Hope
I've known some of these songs over two years now, needless to say I was stoked to have the recording.
10. Gileah and The Ghost Train - S/T
You should go to www.myspace.com/gileah and listen to "The Devil".
