I have seen in comments and online before where, after Jason left MP, they changed a majority of the song titles from their original names. Is there anyone who would know what the original tracklisiting was supposed to be? The best that I can come up with, is this picture that I've come across of their time in studio.

Never heard about this, but the titles on the board may not necessarily be the original titles of the songs. They could just be working titles.

Yeah I thought that could be a possibility.. But I have read that Jason didn't even know what a lot of the songs on ALIR were, because they changed a majority of the titles and actually took a song off (which was supposibly the original album title).. No big deal, I just thought it'd be interesting to see what the original ALIR looked like.

In all seriousness though, Jason left before song titles would have even been decided on. So it's not so much that they changed them because he left as they just named them after he left and he didn't know what the final names were. Also there were 2 songs cut, This Is Me Missing You, which was the tentative title of the record, and an untitled demo. Neither has ever surfaced. Or have they? DUN DUN DUN.

*sort of* This Is Me Missing you has a 1:59 clip on youtube entitled "Jason's Encore" but you cant really understand what he's singing. The other one....well it hasn't leaked. It's no where on the internet. But a few select people have it. One of those people might be me. I'm not at liberty to discuss.

If there's anyone that knows more than me about mayday, it's you haha. I've spent the last 5 years trying to find out anything there is to know about this band, because ALIR was simply the best thing that's ever happened to me haha. So thanks for the input! Glad I could get a serious answer out of this haha

Most of what I know has been acquired in my 3 year long search for a recorded version of This Is Me Missing You that has so far turned up 11 demos, only one not on the record, but not the song in question.

I have some connections, but most of those I have chosen not to use. For example Jason is actually a friend, but I have never once even mentioned Mayday Parade or the demo to him since we became friends last year. I've just kind of made it a forbidden topic on my end because I know he was sick of talking about Mayday long before he and I met. My information just comes from a lot of googling for the most part, if you google absolutepunk+mayday parade+jason lancaster there are a few posts he made on here shortly after leaving mayday that were a decent read but that don't really provide any useful info. The demos I cant say where I got them but if I were you I wouldn't even try. Not even counting just the wasted time I put in for them (i've only had them a few months so it's been well over 2 years in the making) I've also done things that could easily land me in prison in the search.

Haha yeah I knew about the clip on YouTube, and I really love how it sounded so I was hoping that the demo/recording/whatever had somehow finally been leaked.
