I usually get just one day off a week from work, two if I'm lucky.

When I'm off work, I like to just relax at home. Read, play some games, watch movies, just relax. Some people though will say "You need to get out" or they think I'm anti- social.

But I'm not. At work, I'm engaging and I get along with people. If I only have one day off, I got laundry to do, get groceries, and I just want time for myself.

Is that such a bad thing? I mean I'll go out every once in awhile but I'm not the type of person that's gonna go out every weekend. I mean, I'm not 18 anymore. I'm an adult. I have responsibilities. I can't just go out and spend money when I need to save up for bills and such.

Just annoying how everyone think's they need to go out every night

I agree with you. It's easier when you're in a relationship then nobody bugs you but when you're single everyone makes it their business that you need to get out and be social like you're going to curl up and die alone or something. I don't think there's anything wrong with not wanting to go out that often but staying social is important, obviously.

Going out is overrated. People who emphasize going out usually means spending $50 on a few drinks at a club. If that's not your scene, then don't worry about it. If you can find relaxation and comfort at home, then why bother going out on a regular basis?

Dude, don't worry about it, I love having those days to myself where I can just relax when I can. I've turned friends down on hanging out a bunch of times, work can be draining and repetitive, so I think it's normal to want to have downtime.

it's not too cool to be throwing up all morning sick, because of what you might have done or done it with

I'm the exact same way. It's so annoying when people assume your just depressed or lazy. I just have one or two days off work as well, and like to play xbox when this occurs.

I think you're absolutely fine. I have days where I feel like doing nothing but staying in curled up on the couch with my boyfriend watching a movie or just going grocery shopping.

I love not going out. Not just because it costs me about 10 bucks just to get back into town.

I never go out either, although I definitely consider myself anti-social. I get flak for it a lot from my sister and some girl I was interested in a while ago but it seems like the definition of going out for people my age involves spending a lot of money on alcohol which doesn't seem interesting to me at all.

My close friends are the same way though and we usually just hangout on the internet. weird.
