Understatement of the year. 85% are meatheads. I get angry at those the most during BBall season.

And they think if THEY haven't heard of a guy then the signing or acquisition sucks.
The other night I was talking to guy who was mad the Yankees didn't resign Babe Ruth.

Who do you guys think the biggest 'What if' player ever was? Like 'What if they had they had their head on straight'?

My vote goes to Ricky Williams. Hands down. He was absolutely amazing.

Randy Moss. Obviously he was great but he could have surpassed Jerry Rice if he had wanted to.

Although Williams certainly had more untapped potential.

that year where he led the league in rushing he was an absolute animal

See, the difference between Moss and say a Leaf, Culpepper, or Williams. Is he had his whole career, he was just an ass. I do agree, if he had Fitzgerald's work ethic, he would've been hands down the best of all time.

I remember hating when the Dolphins got him, I really thought he was going to be the best RB of all time. But he has some serious personality issues, (like Brandon Marshall, another ex-Dolphin, haha). I just remember Lawrence Timmons stepping on his shoulder and ending his season, I always thought that was intentional.

Oh yeah, he's the man. After that, I totally got where he was coming from leaving football. Thought it was weird he had a kid with some other chick, then married the OTHER girl though.

These two are great answers; if Ricky cared the whole time he'd probably have passed Emmit Smith in the end. And obviously Vick going to jail derailed him. But I think Ricky is the tops, just because he had the potential to be dominant for a long time and just didn't give a shit; and by the time he snapped out of it, he was already past his prime
