Are fucking brilliant. Definitely my favourite band of all time

And many, many more. They have such a huge, diverse back catalogue that it's hard to narrow it down to a short list of their best songs.

The word brilliant does not do this band justice. I mean, a band that can produce songs such as P.C.P., A Design For Life and Indian Summer? They are the sole reason I wish I was British. Or from Wales.

It's criminal that I am the second person to comment.

Edit: nice on the JDB avatar. Classic.

Discovered them when they did a concert in The Hague, The Netherlands in 1996. It was on the radio and I taped (that's right!) that and played that tape for months. I wish I still had it. Shortly after that I bought "Everything must go", great album. Eventually I didn't really follow them anymore. Especially their earlier work seems underappreciated.

Some great songs were already mentioned, I also really like "From Despair to Where", "La Tristesse Durera (Scream to a Sigh)" and "Kevin Carter".

I'm positive there was a thread for them yonks ago that not many people commented on. I absolutely love this band. Holy Bible, Everything Must Go, Journal For Plague Lovers. So much greatness

Love them and everything they've done! "The Holy Bible" is one of those albums I can put on and listen to every song over and over. Weird that they're so huge and in England and so small here. I was lucky enough to see them in San Fran a few years ago...definitely in my top ten of concerts I've been to.

Well I'd definitely get Gold Against The Soul and Send Away The Tigers.

Know Your Enemy and Lifeblood are both pretty shoddy. Maybe with one ore two good tracks

Edit: I've just realised that your list doesn't have The Holy Bible in it. Get that album as a matter of urgency!

The rumour is that he lives in Fuerteventura. An island off Spain. Well, that's a supposed sighting of him. I honestly believe he threw himself into the river and got swept away. As much as if like to not believe that
