Just wondering if Gestalt by The Spill Canvas or Phoenix by The Classic Crime will be reviewed. They are both great releases of this summer that hard a lot of threads about them but no staff reviews. Gestalt has been out for a while and Phoenix just came out a while. Both are great examples of awesome kickstarter albums that went back to their roots while amping it up.

I don't believe anyone is reviewing Gestalt, but Jack is reviewing Phoenix

I have never written a review before but maybe I will work on one for Gestalt. It was absolutely everything anyone would want from The Spill Canvas after their last failed effort. It combines One Fell Swoop with No Really, I'm Fine to make a rocking and poetic kick starter classic.

it was great and definitely worth a listen. The passion is so back in this band. The album is filled with rock songs and slower ballads with really passionate writing. My favorites are "To: Chicago" and "My Vicinity."
The album is filled with call backs sound wise to One Fell Swoop and No Really, I'm Fine to create an album they seemed passionate writing but at the same time was made for fans to love.
