Just out of curiosity, my band has a record out called 'Basics'. Anybody familiar with copyright laws? Not that I think something is wrong, I'm just not sure how that works. I'm sure my band wasn't the first to name a record 'Basics'.

You can't copyright names (ie. albums, band names). It would be a question of trademark infringement. But, this would be fine since presumably there's little or not likelihood of confusion between the two albums.

Hey I know those dudes. The album is pretty cool, check it out.

Croggs, isn't that what Axel Rose did w/ Guns n Roses? I'm not a fan of them so I don't know.
