Figured why not? A quick set of lyrics a wrote on tour.
DEA and traffic cops never stand together and neither do we tonight. We all braved waffle house and fireworks, adults stores and phone calls from people who's intentions aren't clear. I'm screaming loud into the phone "hey man, can you hear me, I'm breaking up, man can you hear?"
Seashores lacking cigarettes and broken glass but makes up for it in confederate flags. Broken homes and broken hearts seem a commonplace a thousand miles from home and the ends seems to blur into the start.
We all wish we had something different to come home to.
This place seems so foreign now and I get where people are coming from in punk rock songs and stories from friends. We actually got dirty looks in Tennessee and I guess the south has it out for me.
We stood alone, alone in the center of this country. We stood alone.
